Join RentalComply as one business and send your subcontractors or staff to the jobs. You set the prices and the area, landlords book your business, and you choose who attends. Each person is checked on their own ID, DBS and accreditation before they go to a job.
Landlords see your business, your prices and your reviews, and book you like any engineer.
Assign an approved team member to each job from your bookings. The landlord sees who is coming and their registration, such as their Gas Safe number.
You can be booked for a service while at least one approved team member is accredited for it, so landlords never book work nobody on your team can do.
We remind you before anyone's DBS or accreditation runs out. If an accreditation expires, that person can't be sent to those services (or to any job, if it's their DBS) until a new one is uploaded and checked.
Your business details
Business name, mobile number and the address you work from, plus your prices, availability and travel radius.
Your photo ID
For the account holder - a passport or driving licence.
Public liability insurance for the team
At least £2 million of cover, and you confirm the policy covers the subcontractors or staff you send.
A UK bank account
Connected through Stripe. Every job your team does is paid to your business, and you pay your people as you normally would.
Their own photo ID
So we know who is going into the property.
Their own DBS certificate
Can't be over 3 years old (from the issue date). We remind you before it runs out.
Their own accreditation
For each service they attend - for example their own Gas Safe registration for gas safety checks. A team member can only be sent to jobs they are accredited for.
The accreditations we accept for each service are listed on the trade pages: electricians, gas engineers, energy assessors, fire risk assessors, legionella assessors and plumbers. Read the full engineer agreement.
You set your own price for each service - by property size, or for gas, PAT and plumbing by the number of appliances, items or the job. Our fee is added on top for the customer, never taken from your price.
Customers are charged when you accept their booking. Each completed job is paid to your bank by Stripe the Monday after, once you have uploaded the certificate.
Set your weekly availability and how far you travel, from 5 to 100 miles. Customers can only book the slots you open.
No subscription, no monthly fee and no paying for leads.
Landlords, letting agents and homeowners enter the property postcode and the service they need.
They see your profile, price, reviews and distance if the property is within your travel radius.
They choose a free slot from your availability and their card is held. You get a notification and have up to 12 hours to accept - accepting charges the customer and confirms the job.
Message the customer through the platform if you need to. Upload the certificate when the job is done, and it is paid the following Monday.
How many jobs you get depends on demand in your area, your prices and your reviews. We don't promise a set number of jobs.
